* It's at the moment identical to the 1D test. That will change with the next commit.

* This should complete the separation of serial and parallel parts
  of the library.

* This was never a fault because the underlying type match assumption was
  true for all platforms used/tested.

* Library headers should always use angle brackets unless an override is
  provided by the package.
