pyslk version 2.0
@k204230 @g300046 @k202134 @m300408 I am preparing pyslk version 2.0.0. Any final wishes / requirements / recommendations?
What has changed to the previos 1.x release?
- removed previously deprecated functions in
pyslk
andparsers
modules - new module structure:
-
pyslk
=>raw
-
parsers
=>core
,base
,jobs
-
- adapted to
slk_helpers
version 1.12.3 which will be released this week
Questions:
- Are you missing features?
- I have to drop support for Python 3.8 and below due to basic Python features which I use. Might this be a problem? The default Python on Levante is 3.9.9.
- The plan would we to release this version at pypi. Any objections?
- What about a release at conda forge? Is this much work?
The release schedule on Levante would be:
- install in module
python3/unstable
on Levante in April + use announcement - install in module
python3/2023.01-gcc-11.2.0
on Levante June or end of May
