when you are finished with the plugin, more or less, I can take a look at it to suggest some changes:

• e.g. instead of hardcoding the large nc into your particular path file_path = '/work/bm1159/XCES/xces-work/b382953/FloodExtent/mRM_Fluxes_States_setgrid.nc', to somewhere more central
• also I will check how to better put the 350MB of files in gitlab so they take less space (e.g. with git LFS). For that I will need to rewrite some git history, but I will not start tinkering with those things until after you greenlight me.
