We started an attempt to get a version 2 of libmtime providing a stack based variant to the existing heap based variant. The proposed implementation was pretty much over-engineered and never finished. Resolving a bug in the usage of the julian day handling in the meantime showed a much leaner way to build a stack based version by adding a new set of constructors only which in fact worked pretty well.

In preparation all remaining issues from the version 2 try will be removed.
