release
I just wanted to discuss, if pyslk
is going to be released alson on pypi (as mentioned in the README release section). I could not find it on pypi. Having it on pypi, we could also create a conda feedstock. Requiring users to install directly from source in the DKRZ gitlab seems a little inconvenient.
Does the license permit to move the whole repo to github? On github, we could automize a lot of the steps mentioned in the README (e.g., publishing, linting, building docs, etc...).
I am starting to integrate pyslk
in our workflows and I would like to contribute some more code, but i usually find it easer and more convenient doing it from github....
@k204221 what do you think? Are there some rules in DKRZ for publising software to github?
