Registration of asynchronously coupled transient simulation of the last inception with interactive ice sheets (AWI-ESM)
source_id: "AWI-ESM-2-1-LR"
institution_id: "AWI"
required_model_components: "AOGCM", "ISM"
experiment_id: "transient_inception_interactive_ice" (set of multiple experiments)
The coupled climate-ice sheet experiments are run asynchronously, i.e. the climate model (awiesm) and the ice sheet model (pism) have run for different numbers of model years. The acceleration factor is ten, i.e. pism has run for ten times more model years than awiesm. Hence, different model years refer to different periods for both model components. Except for the acceleration factor, the model setup is the same as in #8. As in #8, files in input/jsbach/
occurs with a frequency of two years (due to the coupling between awiesm and pism every second year). To fill the gaps in between, files can just be duplicated.
More detailed information regarding the set of simulations can be found in the attached spreadsheet.Lars_Ackermann_Experimentlist_Cmorization.xlsx
