Does this issue refer to the license for the whole repo, including the docs, or just the software? Carsten and I saw that Sofiane has a license for the jupyterhub docs, see the LICENSE file here: https://gitlab.dkrz.de/jupyterhub/jupyterhub-docs/-/tree/master
