I/O proc intermittently not receiving all columns from curtains

For curtains only, occasionally some columns of data are not received by the I/O process. This causes gaps in the curtain which is written out. Testing so far has shown that the data column is sent from the MPI proc but not received by the I/O proc. If this cannot be solved using only ComIn, may have to use a YAC implementation for curtains.
